Ruby Skies

We always set out to capture young, talented and emerging artists performing live. Pysch-rock band Stonefield may be young and talented, but they have well and truly emerged.

We are excited to release Stonefield’s track ‘Ruby Skies’ (Bad Reality EP, 2012) just in time for their self-titled debut album release on 11 October 2013. You can pre-purchase the album here (released through Wunderkind/Illusive) and watch the official video clip for their first single ‘Put Your Curse On Me‘.

When talking to Red Bull, lead singer Amy described the forthcoming album as predominantly rock-based with a psychedelic influence.  She also mentioned there’s a ballad on the album; something for us to look forward to!

These four gorgeous sisters (Amy, Hannah, Sarah and Holly) have been making serious waves around town since winning the triple j Unearthed high competition in 2010. Their rise to success has been rapid, seeing them receive radio play both nationally and internationally and playing Glastonbury in 2011.  It is Stonefield’s live performance that saw Martin Elbourne (festival booker) book Stonefield for Glastonbury on the spot after seeing them perform at a Perth showcase.

Stonefield have just announced a national tour from October – December this year, including playing Meredith Music Festival and The Hill Winery with Fleetwood Mac.

Four talented ladies with an epic fan base, a debut album about to be released, a national tour ahead and the support of Australian music gurus like Paul Gildea and Michael Parisi – Stonefield are here to stay.
